Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are you going to do with my calendar data?
Your calendar data is used to generate your personalized Wrapped. We do not sell your data to any third parties.
How does GCal Wrapped work?
GCal Wrapped analyzes your Google Calendar events to create personalized insights about your semester. We look at patterns in your schedule, calculate statistics, and present them in a fun, shareable format.
Are you affiliated with Google?
We are not affiliated with Google in any way, shape, or form. This is a completely independent project.
Who built this and why are you doing this?
We're Megan and Simon — two sophomores from Cornell University! Both of us are avid GCal users and huge data-lovers. Thanks to a friend's suggestion (shoutout Noah!), we figured, why not build our own version of Wrapped for Google Calendar?
What's up with the potato medal?
The potato medal is a nod to Simon's Czech roots, where there's a saying that those in fourth place get a 'bramborovou medaili' — i.e., a potato medal.
